English Language Teaching

Completing the Cambridge CELTA programme in Seville provided valuable experience in student centred learning, active methodologies, accessible communication, and professional teaching practice. Through lesson observations, collaborative learning, and detailed critical feedback, I developed a strong understanding of scaffolding, concept checking questions, differentiated instruction, and creating engaging lessons that encourage participation and confidence.

Following CELTA, I worked as an English Language Teacher within international language school settings, teaching students across A1–C2 levels and supporting adult learners preparing for IELTS and visa related examinations. Working with students from a wide range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds strengthened my understanding of inclusive teaching, adaptable methodologies, and the importance of creating supportive learning environments where students feel comfortable taking risks and developing confidence in their abilities.
